Yeah I did about 10 hours of weed eating last weekend followed by a 2 hour motorcycle race on Sunday and I'm STILL sore. Oh man was it muddy.

It wouldn't have been so bad if I had not done a chest and arms workout the day before. So my legs, arms and stomach are all sore. My wife has plans to do some work outside this weekend to get the soreness out of me.

Second option is new 16" Black Rock Series 942 Type D Matte Black Wheels with BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A Tires which are about 31.8" in diameter.

Of course I want the bigger tires. But should I be concerned about future tire purchases and lack of availability of 16.5" tires? I plan on eventually getting a spare tire and rim either way so I'm not to concerned about getting stranded and struggling to find a place with a 16.5" tire in stock (like last Friday). But what do y'all think? I have 31" tires on it now that are rotted to hell.

I had some 31x10.50x15 BF Goodrich All Terrain's on my truck at one time. I did not care for them at all. I got stuck in the mud once or twice and they just spun in the semi-wet grass all the time. They did great in sandy soil, looked great when cleaned up, and hummed on the pavement. I have some Wild Country RVT's on there now and they are somewhat better. They do not whine on pavement, and have not been stuck in the mud. But they still spin in the grass. I am considering some Toyo Open Country M/T Mud tires for the next ones. I do not know how well they will do, but they look much more aggressive and should handle their job better.

Yeah those open country tires are nice. Problem is they don't make em in a 16.5" therefore I would have to get new rims as well and that is way out of my budget. I've been doing some research on the All Terrain K/Os and you are supposed to let out a substantial amount of pressure for the best performance off-road. Which doesn't really bother me because I am on the highway most of the time anyways (Just about 2,000 miles a month). I might do a little off-road driving on the weekends but nothing too aggressive.

I might also consider the Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires.

On second thought, not so much after reading the reviews on their website.

I have 16.5s on the back of mine but have gone to 16" for the front. 16" wheels are a dime a dozen and tires are easy to come by and much less expensive than larger ones. I trail ride about once a year on my CR250, usually in Dahlonega.

You have a CR250 an only ride it once a year!? What year is the bike? if you ever want to sell it, let me know. I'd trade that bike in the picture above, plus cash for it.. (4 stroke)

I have to wait for my son to ride. I'm old and too feeble to load and unload the bike by myself. Yes it is a beautiful day. It was so nice I got up early and went fishing. I'm not feeble but don't like to ride by myself anymore.

Yes it was cool this morning. I had to wear a sweater and shoes to go fishing. Now to mow the lawn or bush hog the pasture.
