Nice Bronco! I had a blowout on Friday due to my old dried out tires. Had a hell of a time finding a 16.5 inch tire and the one I did end up getting is just as old as the ones already on there.. So it looks like new rims and tires are in order. I want some rims similar to stock in appearance but preferably in 17 inch. Like the ones on that bronco in the earlier post. Any suggestions? Southern Bronco, what kind of rims are those?
You made a great choice.
Man going 100 miles an hour trying to juggle 3 different things. Current unit, new unit and full time job. Good thing I am not at home during the week. Think I am fixing to head to the motorhome and make some dinner and chill. Tomorrow will be late since we have a phone confrence.
Would something like 20 inch rims look weird on my truck? Big tires are expensive so I've come to the conclusion I can achieve the illusion of bigger tires (and they really will be larger in diameter) without dropping around $1,000.
I don't like these big rims. And with 20s you'll still spend a bunch. I just estimated the least cheapest set of 20 inch tires and wheels is around $2400. While a set of nice 15s is around $1100. And that price is figured on running 33 in tires.
Good morning guys,
Thought I was a young stud yesterday and ran 2 miles, about 1/2 a mile of it was up a 30% hill. Needless to say I am very sore today. Ah the fun of being in the military..
Of course I want the bigger tires. But should I be concerned about future tire purchases and lack of availability of 16.5" tires? I plan on eventually getting a spare tire and rim either way so I'm not to concerned about getting stranded and struggling to find a place with a 16.5" tire in stock (like last Friday). But what do y'all think? I have 31" tires on it now that are rotted to hell.
