Purge Valve
What is the purpose/function of the purge valve in making the EGR valve work? Where would I find a schematic drawing/diagram for this?

This is on my 1996 5.8L engine.

The purge valve purges fuel vapors from charcoal canister. It is unrelated to the EGR.
