Doing an engine swap in a 93 F-150. Changing from a 5.0 to a 5.8 from a 95. There is a sending unit or switch on the brake line that disengages the cruise. There is a pigtail on the wiring harness that goes to the transmission that goes to this switch but it is not on the 95 harness. Is this in a different place on the 95 or does it use a different system? Any help would be apreciated.

Some have the switch on the master cylinder. Not sure what years. There is a recall on them, they catch on fire.

That is where it is on my 93. I finally found the one that was off the donor truck on the end of the brake master cylinder.Change the brake line and master cylinder and good to go.
