HIgh Idle problem
The belt on my 2004 E150 4.6 liter gas Cargo Van broke. By the time I pulled over the van was overheating, however, no hoses burst and there was no steam coming out. The engine cooled in about an hour and I was able to drive it the 1/4 mile to my house. The van started fine but it was lacking power. I installed the new belt with no problems. When I start the van The Idle is CRAZY high, it hits 4000 rpm right away and starts climbing to higher numbers before I turn it off. Any idea as to what is going on and how I can troubleshoot this? Money is tight, I would like to fix myself if possible.

Thanks. That's what I was just thinking. Can you tell me how to find it. I don't even know if I access it from the outside or inside of the van 
. What it looks like or the type of connections coming from it.
