Ummm, yeah, that does usually help..lol....my goal is to always wear my tires out before they dry rot...only have about 1500 miles on mine...but now I gots a hood and lights...power tour 2014 awaits:
Well it moves under it's own power. I backed it out of the shop today and turned it around in the yard and then backed it back into the shop. Ordered my rims and tires today as well but won't be seeing them for about 4 weeks. I'm going to talk to one of the mechanics at work to see if he will do the safety on it so I can take it for a short spin around town. If I can get the front end lined up well enough I may venture a little further.
Well the 4 weeks turned into 3 months thanks to the SOB that never placed the order until 7 weeks after I ordered them. I picked them up this past Wednesday, 850 km round trip in a freaking snow storm. Traffic was pretty much at a dead stop in Winnipeg. I felt like blasting the guy but figured what's the use, will never purchase anything from Softy's Speed Shop again. This is the wheels I purchased, they are Centerlines retro legends 15x6 front p215/70r15, 15x8 on back p225/60r15 mickey thompson s/t
While I was waiting for my rims to arrive I installed some wear strips to my running boards to protect the paint.
It was a disappointment dealing with this guy and all his lies, if he had ordered the rims when I placed the order I could have had the panel certified for the road, wheel alignment done, A/C charged, speedo programed and had hours of run time so the Holley ecm to do it's learning and see if there was anything else that needed to be done over the winter.
Your vision has come to fruition....and it is great! I hope some day mine looks half as good as yours John. What a great time your gonna have next summer with your finished ride.

You have one very sweet looking ride there too Capt'n and I'd be proud if it were mine too.
It just suck that all I can do now is look at it and hope there isn't too many bugs to work out next spring.
