Capt'n, any pics of the install of your headliner and side panels?
Sorry James, the PO initially installed it and I believe it came from Mid Fifty back around 10 yrs. ago. It needs a total overhaul but, I did rattle can the old light grey, sun bleached floor carpet and lower sides to black. It took about 4 cans of Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric spray to cover it all. I was surprised how well the spray penetrated the fibers of the carpet. No trace of the old lighter color.

This is what I've got done so far. I'm waiting on the 2 side panels, door panels and console which should be in a couple weeks.

Wow John.....that interior is awesome! Clean and polished look. Really like the overhead console and dash extension. Down right tidy!
Sure hope that "white" finish on your steering wheel stays "white". I did the same thing on a dropped and racked 64 T-Bird only in white leather. OOps! I forgot that the natural oils in my skin would turn the white into an ugly tan where I gripped the wheel the most.
Can't wait to see the finished product! Great job!

that is real nice John. It so simple and uncluttered as so many seem to try and cram way to much into them. I do like it a lot so far. Keep it uncluttered and simpe and hide the fancy trick stuff behind the dash and panels.

The picture doesn't show the correct colour, it is actually a light tan colour ( doe skin is what it's called, the seat colour is called buck) The flash kind of washes out the colour.

I installed a sheet of oak plywood and made skid stips from solid oak.

I agree......that looks really nice. I'd like to see a picture of the floor a little closer if you happen to have one.

I hope that you do a lot of cruising when you get it completely done. Come down this way! Winter here is like your summer only more humid and sticky. I would love to actually see your panel

This is the closest shot that I have. I'm hoping to pick up the rest of the panels next week when I have some time off.

Beautiful job John , absolutely gorgeous! I like the way the headliner/speakers finish in the back creating hinge pockets.

I now have all my interior panels home and started installing them. I have to repaint one of my side mirrors before installing the door panels as I messed up on the angle on the right side mirror.

Looks good John, get it ready and bring it down for the 2014 f100 supernationals.
