7 pin rv plug

7 pin rv plug

Still working on my 97 Expy lol. For whatever reason the previous owner removed 7 pin plug that came with the factory tow package and just left the wires hanging then spliced in a 4 flat plug with the taillights. Not sure what was going on with that. Anyway I bought a 7 pin plug but I'm not sure what wire is supposed to go where. When I look up the schematics they don't match the colors I have on the truck. Colors I have are

blue
white
orange
yellow
black/green
brown/white
green

On the plug itself it has numbers and a corresponding color. Of course these don't match what I have. They don't match any diagrams online either. Any help would be appreciated.

Blue is 2, electric brakes
White is 1, ground
Orange is auxiliary or reverse lights, center
Yellow is 5, left turn
Black is 4, 12 volts
Brown is 3, tail lights
Green is 6, right turn

You should pin it out with a meter to confirm.

Fine taste in cars, at one point I had a pair of 88 SS's. One in silver, one in white. Then I realized I needed to drive in the snow and now I have a pair of Expeditions.

Thanks. I love the Monte Carlo's. No problem with snow here in Florida . Needed something that got better mileage and I wanted a 6 speed so I got the Trans Am. Since the Monte wasn't the DD anymore I took out the poor ol 305 with 287,000 miles on it and dropped in a 540. MPG went from 14 to 4 though lol.
