91 3.0 temp weirdness

91 3.0 temp weirdness
Sometimes my temp gauge bounces around a bit or takes a minute or soo to come up to temp if its allready warm and I start the van.
My van never runs hot actually it never goes up more then a bit over a 1/4 on the gauge even when its fully warmed up.
Otherwise it runs perfect. Just curious if this is something I should be on top of or not.
