Gauge(s) Help Question

Being new to the 7.3 or diesels altogether, I'm going to purchase an overhead gauge pod and gauges for the new Excursion. Couple questions.....

1. What size pyrometer....they show different temps...i.e. 1600....2000 degree?

2. Turbos bost...i.e...30lbs.....35lbs....60lbs. What determines what one should get?

What are the most important ones for a ...3 or 4 gauge pod?

Others are fairly straight forward...trans temp., fuel pressure, water temp.
