Having confirmed that the 312 flywheel is a one-and-only item NOT swappable with the other Y's, I am about to get put back together properly BUT:
THere are a couple short teeth on the ring gear on that 312 flywheel, and that 239 ring gear is cherry.
ANY reason not to swap it onto the 312 flywheel???

Sorry, I looked all over both flywheels and could find no number marking s at all. It did look like the balance points were at a different point on the clock though.
