engine cleaned oh oh
Made an appointment at the Ford Dealership for an engine shampoo on my 2011 6.7 diesel. Showed up on Saturday morning right on time and went to the diesel section (they have a diesel area and a non-diesel service area) No one was at the diesel area and it was closed. I thought what is this? I sure wasn't going to take my 6.7 to the regular service area and have some guy, probably a high school student spraying my engine. I just thought that might be asking for trouble so I left. I will call them back next time I am in town but I want to make sure if someone is going to clean my engine that they understand the difference between a diesel and gas engine when shampooing. Had my old gas truck's engine shampooed before and the engine looked clean and great. Want the same for my diesel but I am worried about the electricals when an amateur does it. Will let you know when I get it done and how it turns out. gulp!

I just returned from having the brakes inspected on my 2012 (Saturday) and asked about getting the fuel filters changed and the Service rep said their diesel techs have Saturday's off and that it's best that these guys do all the work on your 6.7. Okay by me good to know as I'll make a week day appointment.
