I'm thinking about buying an SCT Xtreme touch screen tuner. It comes with three factory and three custom tunes which I will probably have to have delete due to different tire size and gearing. How many tunes will these units store? Is it like a laptop that can hold a lot of different tunes (software)?
The TSX will hold 3 canned tunes and 3 custom tunes, this unit is outdated and has had issues with wireless connection, not to mention it lacks in gauge monitoring. The new Livewire TS will hold 3 canned tunes and 10 custom tunes and will monitor everything needed, plus allows for 7 external sensors.
The older X2 will only hold 3 custom tunes. SF2 only 3 canned. the original X3 will hold 5 canned tunes and 3 custom tunes. The SF3 will hold 3 canned and 3 custom. The new X3 will hold 3 custom. SCT just came out with a new update for the SF3 that can hold 10 custom tunes. The iTSX will hold 3 canned and custom.

I always had my suspicion that it would have connectivity issues, especially considering it was first gen.
I miss the xCal 2s. I kinda regret selling it to another member on the board (local to me). For some reason the X3 just seemed to be lacking, but it was one of the earlier ones as well.
I recently inquired about the iTSX from a respected tuner (name withheld): "I would consider looking at the new Livewire TS. We have had nothing but issues with the bluetooth SCT devices."
