Question step reccomendations? (explorer 2000 xlt

Just wondering if anyone would like to reccomend any steps that can be put onto an explorer 2000 xlt with no running boards. I'm not interested in running boards, just steps for the ol' lady to climb up into truck easier. I'm hoping there something out there that wont affect clearance much.
thanks, greg

These steps may be more costly than what you wish to spend, but Kodiak makes a step that extends and retracts electrically. When you open the door, the step quickly flips down. When you close the door, the step quickly flips up. These steps are certainly neat. A customer came to pick up an item at our store the other day and he had the Kodiaks installed on his new Dodge. Very slick little system! And the step sits flush against the bottom of the truck cab., so no lost ground clearance! Just an idea!

I installed a set of the Kodiaks on my wife's F250 super duty, they are nice. I fished the wire in split loom for the drivers side through the body over the transmission and ran one lead up to power. I don't like any more wire than necessary. They are great steps though. I heard that the company that subs the retractable steps for the navigator was marketing their's also.
