Need Some Help 97 F150
Hey y'all, I'm from the 7.3 powerstroke page posting for my sisters boyfriend.
He has a 97.5 " i believe thats what he said " F150 4x4. Not sure the motor size yet i can't remember but will find out. The truck has ob 230k on it and he is having some issues. Im thinking coil pack related and most likely o2 sensor related.
I have the Auto Enginuity Total ford bundle which i use on my 7.3 powerstroke. Im very familiar with it for my diesel but not for a gasser. I would like to run some diagnostics on his truck to figure out the prolbems its having. Do any of y'all use this software ? and if so can you give me some quick pointers on what to look for. He will be driving it back to Michigan from Florida in a few weeks and would like to go over it to make sure he has no issues on his trip.
I will gather up some more info tomorrow from him about the trucks motor size and what exactly is going on with it. For now just checking to see if anyone is familiar with the AE software and could give me some pointers on what to look for like values on 02 sensors coil packs and other things.
