Bilstein question
I know this sounds foolish but I just picked up a pair of Bilstein Shocks for the rear of my 2011 F-150 and I have to say that it is confusing on which end is up.
Normally the boot is up and most shocks have "Top" or "Bottom" stamped into the tube. These don't and to confuse the situation more the instructions are in German, which I cannot read. And the "Bilstein sticker" on the shocks is upside down if i put the boot up....
Any idea?
Thanks

You should be able to read the label in normal position. So boot down.
FROM BILSTEIN 14th bullet down.
FAQ
BUT IT DOES SAY ORIENTATION DOES NOT MATTER.

it's not a problem.... they produce the best shock on the market so a little German interpretation is worth it.

How do you like the Bilsteins on this truck?
I've had them on track cars, full coil-over kits on street cars, and on my '98 Explorer. I was thinking of a set for this truck now.

dramatic improvement in ride. huge improvement in handling while pulling our 11,000 lb travel trailer
Eliminated the porpoising the truck had with the OEM shocks while towing the travel trailer.
well worth the expense in my opinion.
