Hey All

Just wanted to take time and stop by.

Im Dakotabos AKA Michael

Im the proud owner of my Grandpa's 1951 Ford F-3 (All Original Im the second owner) BUT Not Ready For the road, that I got off the farm before it was sold with the farm. I am going to start the restoration after Sturgis Bike Rally. Have biker friends staying so need my garage space for them. I am also a proud owner of a 04 Big Dog Chopper that takes alot of my money and mechanical skill but love both.
Im in Box Elder, SD and work at Ellsworth. Just moved back here from New Mexico after a 20 year USAF career. Im from east river (Springfield, SD) but love it out here in West River too.
I just found a 1952 Ford F-3 yesterday and I might buy that one too. Its road worthy and I will have a little work before thats driving around town.
I am still figuring out this site and working my way around it so it will take time.
Glad to be here. Great info on here just have to find it

Howdy Michael! Thanks for stopping in and introducing yourself.

Sounds like you got a great old truck to play with. We'd love some pictures when you get a chance...

I love it out on your end of the state... usually get out there a few times a year. Won't be hitting the bike rally this year as I just sold my Harley. Maybe next year. And, thanks for your service! I usually stay at Ellsworth when I'm out that way since my wife is in the AF Reserve. Can't beat their rates and the facilities are very nice.

Again, welcome to the SD chapter. Hope to see you around!

Thanks Guys. Im not here much working too much but when I start my rebuild I will be here alot. I am a Admin over on BigDogBiker forum so that takes my time too. But I know alot about Motorcycles and Chopper now I need to learn about 1951 Ford F-3 ins and outs.
Sorry to hear you sold your HD. I will never sell my Big Dog. Thats the only thing that keeps my mind right

Here is a picture of the truck. Like my wife says you have a lot of work but hey I am the second owner of a 51 Ford F-3 so its still in my family and I will bring it back.

Yeah I drive a Dodge if you notice the tail lights but love my Mega.

And My Dog

Take it easy and if its easy take it twice
