fuse blows when key on

97 F150 4.2 auto with Simple trans pan gasket change because it was leaking and now the ign fuse blows everytime i turn the key to the on position.
Ran fine before now what? can't pull code with reader with key on or off.

What is the fuse # that blows? #30?
The PCM can't diagnose primary power feeds directly so would be of no value looking for code.

Think its #25 its the main fuse for the ign. 30 amp
pops the second the key hits on.
traced the harness for rodent or scraping and found nothing.

Go back and look again. Also, tell us WHICH fuse box it's in.

update

After much tracing of wire looms and plugs, It came down to bad slide switch
for the ign system. Contacts inside switch were cooked.
