I drove back from a job site to the bank to make a deposit and when I pulled out I noticed the tranny slipped, so I pulled in at an auto parts store and looked underneath. Yikes....fluid is running out of the vent tube!!!! Called a tow truck and had it towed to the shop.
Any chance the front pump just failed or should I expect the worst...a new tranny (I don't trust rebuilt ones anymore)?

I had just driven up a steep mountain road about twenty minutes before this all happened. I am thankful it didn't happen on the road yesterday as I was making a 325 mile drive home in thnuderstorms from the Air Force base I serve at as a reservist....Charleston in case any of you wonder.
Can I expect problems in general from this tranny?
