Dana 60 manual hub conversion

I have a 1985 f250 with the Dana 50 ttb. I picked up a later 80s ford Dana 60 and it has automatic hubs. I seen some conversion kits said it would work for the 50 and 60. If so, could I just use the locking hub body's that are in the ends of my Dana 50 instead of buying an expensive kit

You can use your D50 stuff. From the spindle out they're the same as the D60.

Sweet that's what I thought. I don't want to use the automatic hub stuff on the 60
