Going to "flush it" today..
should the thermo be changed out also at this time. also i am not sure where to locate the block plugs. on each side or just one, what and where do i look? size of bolt?

Here's a walkthrough. Pretty easy to find the drivers side plug, you have to remove the starter for the passenger side plug. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...nge-101-a.html

I did mine a month or so ago. The starter was more difficult to get out than I was expecting. One of the 3 bolts (i think 13mm??) was a bugger. Was very glad to have an air ratchet. I was also glad to have a fumoto valve to install in place of that block plug so that I don't have to pull the starter again, next time I flush - which will likely be soon. Good luck
