back on the fourm
I do still have the COE.
With 3 youngish ones I don’t dedicate a whole lot of time to the truck as none of them are all too interested in it. She’s very much back-burnered right now as my eldest just bought himself a ‘76 International Scout II. And mom just bought a Jeep. So I’ve been lured into the 4 by realm and am positioned to revive an old binder 345 and rebuild floors and such.
I did fetch a 9 ft express bed for the build this last year. That’s squirreled away in a back building to keep the city’s eyes off of it.
I still haven’t settled down on a chassis. Still waiting for the Ford shield stars to align on that front.
Honestly the thought has been stronger to sell it, not for necessity, but to let someone get it built. But as for now, she is tucked away for less obliged days ahead. Hopefully she’ll still be able to be road legal by then and I’ll still be able to buy fuel!
When the kids are older and don't want to hang around with their parents, you can finish that cool truck. They are going crazy in value, so you'll always have a valuable truck if you hang on to it.
Both my sons have cool 4×4s, I'm hoping to go play with them in my '53 soon. When I get it stuck, it's going to be stuck!
Keeping touch,
Ken..
