1955 F100 Build (R)
I was going to start a build thread a while back but lost time. I have fallen behind on updating pictures so here they are!
What we started with. I had already started body work on front fenders.
Fenders back from blaster!
Gonna buy a new bed, but this came with the original truck so using it as a mock up.
Boxing plates in.
Getting everything lined up right.
Welded in nice and pretty!
Don't have any pictures of process but here's the finished product. Debating on moving to bags though for better stance plus country roads are horrible around here. I have way more pictures but don't want to put all at once. I'll upload more as the day goes on or another day. If you have any questions just ask and I will do my best to answer it!

Started the body work and decided that I hated it!
Got all rear suspension bolted in. Again debating on going to bags.
Using mock up bed to estimate the ride height.
Mocking up rims. Afraid gonna have to move up to 20s. The 18s just don't look big enough.
Put the rear end together and discovered the axle housings are to long. Probably gonna have to buy a new housing.

Was gonna finish shaving the doors but mig welder was to hot and burnt right through the metal.
Cab at the media blaster, came out very good! Had a few dents in the roof
Hood, grill, cowl vent, ash tray, and glove box all done as well. Fred's did a nice job! Definitely will be using him on future builds!

Trevor, Mig welding is hot stuff. Careful with the exposure of your arms and legs! You already have a great start, so Remember, take your time and do it right. The finished product will only be as good as the sum of its parts. It's a lot of work but you'll be proud when you drive down the street and get the Thumbs-up signal from many. A prayer for you my friend! ron
