flathead stuck
hey guys i bought a 1951 ford f1 and the flathead engine turned over by hand fine but then after towing it i tried to turn it over and it would turn a little bit then stick and i would turn it forward again then back but cant get a full rotation out of the engine any help would be great thank you

I second that Ross. Dont force it. Youll mushroom a lifter. Take the heads and intake off and work them up and down, or pull the horse shoes and pull them all the way out. Then you can see what your cylinders look like and check for cracks.
