bumper spacer

Hey Guys,

Need ideas for a 1-1.5" HEAVY DUTY bumper spacer. I need it to be able to have space for a bigger winch and mainly to stiffen up the mount so the large aftermarket bumper doesnt wiggle.....any ideas?

Really anything. Have you seen the warn kit?

You could use a 2x4 wood block if you wanted to haha. I would think a solid metal block with holes drilled would be the best.

the warn kit is way to over the top. My bumper is a winch bumper so the mount is there i just want the wiggle to go away. I dont know if blocks would help that or not.

2x4's would actually be about the best solution. They are really solid and they would also dampen vibration. I think I used a couple pieces a 3/8" steel with holes when I spaced mine out for the plow bracket. IIRC they are doubled up so there is 6/8" of clearance now.
