05 Navigator Bluetooth Music Integration
Hi guys,
I've got an 05 Navi with factory navigation THX system. I don't want to mess with the oem look but I also want to upgrade that so out of date system with bluetooth 4.0 (aptx) connectivity. I got rear seat overhead dvd system, so it has aux in on there. That's my point of entry. I'll hide the bluetooth chip (I'm gonna rip it off from an Avantree Roxa) and the 12 v to 5v converter in a space inside the overhead dvd unit. What I need to figure out is; how can I get accessory power from DVD unit's wires. DVD shuts itself off when I turn the engine off, so it's powered by an accessory cable. I need that cable so that I can tear it and use it to power bluetooth chip too.
Here is what the connections look like. Does anyone know which wire is ground and which is acc. power?
Also, I know it's a long shot but does anyone know a shortcut to connect to aux input on dvd unit? I don't want two cables to come out of the unit and get connected back in front. These are the aux inputs:
Thanks in advance
