Age Old Wheel Question
The frugal half of me is dying to purchase some of these DRMO HMMWV tires popping up all over the place. However wheels become the issues...
What are the chances of pulling something like this off on a 06' F250? It is my understanding that the brakes are too big to fit inside anything less that 17"?
Has anyone come up with an option?

Spoke with a gentleman at Trail Worthy Fab today, he tells me he can do a F250 center on a HMMWV wheel with a 3.5" backspacing and some modification to the wheel so it will clear the brakes. Any comments on this? He says its a 3800# +/- capacity wheel and the GY MTR tires are Load Range D however they come in at a near 3800# +/- capacity as well.
I assume a 12.50 tire with a 3.5" backspacing is going to stick way out? Anyone have a similar setup with pictures? Potential damage to bearings etc up front with the wheels that far spaced out?
