Clutch slop fix

Do I have to buy the kit off eBay or can I fab up my own ? I thought I read something on here to use a brass bushing and a shaft collar with a set screw or somethin??

The kit from ebay would be the way to go. We just did one on Tyler's truck the other day. Cheap and simple fix.
