Admittedly my voice shouldn't really matter, but it does seem odd that you guys are divided on a minor differing model distinction while in the 48-56 group we combine all models of two entirely different design platforms. Stu

Very good point, Stu. your input is appreciated.
in fact ALL input is appreciated, whether i would agree with it or not.
I never got the point of the sub forum for the uni's. Theres more differences in between 61-64 and 65-66 that i can think of and yet its the uni that got separated? doesnt make sense

Ok time to get serious, What are the Pros and Cons of this additional site?
How does it interfere with the 61-66 F-100 & Larger F-Series Truck forum? Are there costs involved that is eating up from maintaining the 61-66 F-100 & Larger F-Series Truck forum? Help me to understand why we have it, or why we don't need it. Thank you.
I'm undecided but I haven't really went into the uni forum just lurked Alil as most the info I need is here but ill be trying to learn more on uni's now that I have a (semi uni truck)? Guess one good thing about separate forum is using search feature to help narrow out unneeded info. But I must say I like the classifieds here I think every generation forum should have there own parts/trucks section easier for the seller and buyer to get parts moved around
I don't know anything about unis....are they MECHANICALLY different or just cosmetically unique? If the only difference is the uni-body (but engines, etc. are the same as non-uni trucks) then I don't see the point.
With all that said, it doesn't matter to me if they have a separate forum. Since I don't own a uni, it really doesn't matter to me.
Hey Mr. Wilson! Dave (garbz2) brought this up the veryday the Uni forum began, he thought it was a bad idea.
Don (fabmandeluxe, moderator of this forum) disagreed, so the chances of the Uni forum going 'bye bye' are nil.
I know that things will not change. Fact is, it IS all about the clicks.... clicks = $$$ just like Garbz says. the decision to start a sub-forum was not about better helping people with there Unibodys! so far 90% of people think it's a bad idea, I think the point has been made.

The Unibodys were split off because uni OWNERS wanted the split, not for any other reason.
How many of your "90%" that think it's a "bad" idea even OWN a uni? Your point is taken, but won't change anything.
