I wanted to share some photos. I just put some new wheels on my 55'. I had a very nice set of American Racing wheels on it but decided I wanted to go for a more stock look.
So, I picked up some new wheels from Coker. I painted them white and had them mounted up today. I'm proud of how they turned out.
She looks beautiful! and not just the wheels. Very nice truck. I think they were white stock if I remember correctly and for some reason I didn't think that would look too good. Well these pictures proved me wrong. The white wheels really go well with the truck color. Very nice.

You are right Harrier, the wheels on 55 and 56 F100's were Colonial White which matched the painted grille.
It looks good! The FORD letters on your hubcaps painted red really sets it off.
I made those with my dad. He's a retired woodworker. We made them from cypress. When I do the wood in the bed i'll use cypress too to match. It has nice grain and holds up well. The rails were a fun project.
A very good looking truck and the wheels look great on it! And Cypress will hold up for a long time, lots of very old homes in New Orleans are built of Cypress and still stand after a couple of hundred years or more.
