From the info I've gathered so far you need: Radiator, engine stands and mounts, throttle (from pedal to firewall mount to cable), bracket and lines if it's power steering.

I am sure I am missing some stuff, but that's the basics. Engine stands from a 302-351m-400 will work, but need to be from a 2wd or 4wd depending on what your truck is.

I got all this info from asking this question a few days ago.

the Radiator doesn't need to be swapped. You will need motor mounts, motor perches/stands, throttle cable, and flywheel/flex plate. That is basically it other than the obvious like A/C brackets and crap like that.

Is this a 2wd or 4wd?

Is your truck 2 or 4 w drive? If its 4 w drive you might be better off staying with the 300 six

It's 4x4 but the 302 has a 600 cfm and Edelbrock performer cam and intake with headers

What do you plan on doing with the truck? Just a farm truck or go to town truck or a DD?

Well, I truly would keep the 300. It has torque for a little off roading and it had fuel mileage for a DD. I'm not here to change your mind but them 300's have some *****. The 302's were good but they don't have the torque like a 300.

Yeah I agree, so even with my moods on the 302 it still won't match the old inline 6s torque?

Well you could match it easily but if you did the same things to the 300 it would be a beast. I guess you could throw the 302 in it and get some good torque out of it. It almost comes down to preference now. What all is done to the 302?

Well that'll be a good engine then. I was gunna say with a little head work and a few other bolt ons it would be a good engine but since it have good heads on it already you should be fine!
