I was given a late model 91 Ford Aerostar. Wanting to make it a little more manly. What all parts can u use for swaps(any welcome and please be specific) on the following:
Front Bumper(OEM or aftermarket)
Front and second seats
headlight and taillight to led/halogen
Side skirt/running boards
I am thinking that Ford Explorer and Ranger could be close fit but needing a little help.

There are many aftermarket choices for a front bumper, should run around $100 and will be paint to match.
Front and second seats
Anything is possible, you will have to do some modification so they will fit the tracks. Anything non-van will have to be bolted to your OE tracks.
headlight and taillight to led/halogen
Headlights, you have tons of options, they are 6054 sealed beams, so you could go with replacements like these:
Searching e-bay you might come across some NOS boards, otherwise search junk yards, the sport version came with Aero style boards that accent the body.

Thanks to anyone for their input.
only thing that will bolt up are wheels. the rest would need modification.
I have wheels from a 96 Lincoln Mark 7 lsc that a buddy gave me...i was thinking bout using explorer seats and i was gonna use a aftermarket front and rear bumper from an explorer or ranger which ever had the same width on the body. But thanks for the info...but what about the taillights?
The LEDs are significantly dimmer, so you have to make a housing just for them that presents them properly so that they are clearly visible. You cannot easily do this with a stock housing, and no one makes any aftermarket ones. Just putting an LED bulb into the stock housing will deliver poor results.
You will need a different flasher, and/or a load equalizing resistor, particularly on the brake circuit. Otherwise it causes too many issues.
Ok...thx...Im fixing to look into bumpers and ima go to junk yarrd and get 4 40/20/40 seats and then get them redone along with interior pieces that r old and cut up from the wheelchair lift that was in it...thx for the help...any other inputs welcome
Hey everyone getting in to shocks now got it running good, new wheels and tires, and fixed the sliding door, but wat are some ways to improve the shocks and springs...im thinking procomp for an explorer...any other ideas?
Well i was trying to just go to part store and getting them...and im not really wanting to spend much on it as im getting ready to paint it in the next couple months...
decent and fairly priced, you might want to look into Monroe shocks, and their coil overs for the rear to help with stance. I have been running those for several years and have no complaints.
ok thx, and I, ve decided to make it awesome by slapping a 302 v8 in it when the 3.0 v6 gives up...but in the mean time im going to be fixing it up to handle the v8...motor coming out of an old truck of mines that im putting a 351 in...
I will I've looked into a little, should be fairly easy since I'm going to use a carburetored 302...but its going to be a while cause I'm going to get all the use outta the 3.0...but ill keep the updates preparing for the motor...

The 3.0l doesn't die easily. The cooling systems are the weak points on Aeros. Flush, flush, flush, then change the coolant every two years.
I had to replace everything on my first 3.0l that was cooling related: heater core, hoses, radiator, rear casting plug, pass side casting plug. Everything except the water pump.
