Transmission Cooler-Best Fit

I am looking for an auxillary trans cooler to help keep the C6 behind my new 460 cool. I have factory AC so I have limited space in front of the radiator.

I want to see some pics of coolers and where and how they are mounted on our era of trucks preferably with AC. Part #s would be nice too. Are their any stock ones that came with the trailer packages that I might find at a junkyard. I am thinking something that mounts to the radiator support then to the center brace behind the grill will work. OEM would be preferred if I can find it.

Both of my dentsides have auxiliary cooler on them, but they mount between the radiator and a/c condenser, so pics aren't going to show much. Just go to NAPA and tell them you want the largest cooler they sell. I think mine ran about $75 when I put them on, but that was nearly fifteen years ago. If you do any towing at all, that's a bargain for making your C-6 last longer.

Here are some pictures of my cooler, I got it at the J/Y off a Chevy van vandura,I know I'm going to hear about it, but what ever works its all game,I think it cost me like $15.00 and its built stronger then the ones you can buy for a $100.00. just make sure you flush it very good if you get a used one,I have it hooked up in line with the radiator one so both work. hope this gives you an idea.
