this might have been mentioned and i missed it. i think your big problem is ground but when you fix that get you a heavy duty flasher and that will fix the quick flsh your getting when you hook up the trailer. i rented u hauls for years wiring was a daily thing what i always did was hook up the trailer drive around the block and then hook up my wiring and all was well.
I troubleshoot and repaired wiring on carnival rides for 11 years as well as installing new wiring rebuilding rides.. Those things take a beating and are "fixed" by pretty much anyone who is bored enough to start chopping wires.. and Europeans believe that 12 guage wire is universal I bet they wire thier houses with it, and the Italian manufactures must buy one huge roll of wire to wire everything with untill it runs out, there is no color code, ya get a ride with ALL one color wire... Then there are multi mechanical flashers to give rides different light patterns also "fixed" many times by many people over many years...
There are much better ways to try and make a living...
Changed ground 2~3 times. Same crap. Now i noticed when i pull my parking lights i loose brake lights. Im just going to connect it all back stock. I ordered in a harness that just plugs in to my stock harness. Here is a few pics of what i had and did.
Im starting to think its because i tied in after the plug where there were 2 black+pink & 2 browns. Maybe too much pull off of 1 of the browns tieing in a trailer off of 1 brown.
I hate to say it, but I don't think your connections will last long. The rear bumper area is one of the worst environments around, with water, salt, dirt, etc in abundance. IMHO, crimp connectors should never be used in an automotive environment, and absolutely never back there.
I believe connections should be soldered and sealed with heat-shrink tubing.

I understand. I was just using what i had on hand. Once it was all proven correct i was going to wrap it. But its comming back out.
