Nevada June BS Thread
Happy hump day Nevada FTE and friends, welcome to hump day. hope everyone can enjoy the day and stay as cool as possible.
Jim
But enjoy it is a nice looking car. I asked my Camaro buddy why the fast Mustangs can't hang either & he told me because old fart like me own Mustangs & can't drive.
Craig
Happy Thursday!

Have a safe & enjoyable day.
I've been slackin' in my CL duties.... I'm sorry everyone.

I've received chapter requests & just checked them recently. I've invited them to come hang out & introduce themselves here in our daily chit chat. So, if you see someone new...please give them a warm welcome.
Jim
New to the chapter. Have had Ford trucks since way before i could drive and still own them today. Glad to be accepted to the chapter, seems like a great place to chat and get information from some nice folks. If one of you is near the thermostat, give it a whack, i think it is stuck in heat mode or something!!!
The Strip in Las Vegas has canceled Friday Drag racing & will run Saturday Night starting @ 9 PM. Sounds like an all nighter. Due to EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING. My buddy has decided not to go but his boy thinks he wants to do the all night thing. So we aren't going in. I think next race is in Aug.
Just to make you feel cool we on the Colorado River are headed to the 123-126s over the next few days.
Craig
Kerrmydog, 123-126 is way too hot for me. I don't even like 100, much less anything in the 120's
I'll have to crank up the swamp cooler out here until I get the window AC installed.Jim
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Craig, according to the reviews in 2010, the Camaro SS would spank the Callenger R/T and only the SRT-8 came close to it that year. Now, in 2011, Ford finally stepped up their GT, but supposedly the Camaro SS still edged it out. I'm not sure when the Challenger went to the SRT-392, but that's when they went to 470 HP vs the SS's 426, so, of course it is going to lose. This is according to the reviews/tests on Edmunds, com. They did a year long test on the 2010 Camaro SS and that's what I've been reading up on. I'm sure it's not the fastest now, 3 years later, but I haven't touched it yet. :-)
As a side note, I found out yesterday that my car shipped out of Tucson on Wed afternoon and *might* be here today. Fingers crossed!!!!!
TGIFF! I hope you have a enjoyable weekend & may it be a safe one. I'll be working out at Top Gun Raceway tomorrow, so play nice & keep cool!
Hi Roger!

Hi Ryan!

Welcome to the Nevada BS Thread. I'm glad you could join us. Don't worry..we don't bite. We always like having new members to BS with. Don't hesitate to jump right in...ask questions &/or share your knowledge, Ofcourse, if your having a bad day, your bored, or just need someone to talk too, were here for that too!
Trust me...everyone has heard a good part of my life happenings since the beginning of the year.
So on that note... let's get the day going.
Who wants coffee?
I have a new fuel pump and water pump for the truck, but it can wait for the temps to drop a bit.
Today will be the first test of the new steel fuel line I installed. I have to run some errands so if that didn't fix it, then I should know fairly quickly.
The line I bought was a tad long so I had to route it in front of the oil cap instead of behind it. I am not sure if I like it there or not. It just looks out of place.
Well, stay cool people, and have a great day.

Jim
Hope you have a Super Saturday,! I didn't have to work today.

They're training new EMTs today, so I'm off until the next race. I really couldve used the money about now, but oh well.
More time for family!
Try to keep cool & hydrated...its a hot one today.
