Assessing Existing Lift

I have some mechanical experience, but am pretty new to lifting and suspension mods. I am wondering how to determine how much lift, if any, my truck has from its previous owners.

I need to know where to look for the different methods of modification and how to measure to determine the amount of lift.

The truck has a little rake to it, but I think that is probably from the weight of the monster front bumper. The distance from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender is about 2 inches less in the front than the rear. Eventually I'd like to level it out, but I need to know what I'm working with first. Plus, I just want to know.

Thanks!

Post up your front and rear measurements from the hub centerline to the top of the fender arch... doing so will eliminate the tire size variables.

If it has blocks in the back, a 4-inch lift will have about a 2.25-inch block plus the height of the factory block.

The springs look stock. The blocks in the back are definitely stock.

Thanks for posting the pics.

Your rig is stock height and has the factory rake to account for bed loads....my measurements are 4.25 to 5 inches more than yours.

So now ya know.

Yep...Tires are 35x12.5x15 Goodyear Wranglers.

Be mindful that the same size tires will vary from brand to brand.
