you will notice mine are the same way,
FE engines oil things differently then GM products. This case the oil is going through the heads and down the rocker arm shaft assembly.......
FE has a NON ADJ valve train in basic form and oils through the rocker stand/shaft assembly.
Important!! The valve train assembly has 2 shanked bolts. These correspond with 2 unique rocker stands which correspond to the oiling routing on the heads and require installation in the correct location and direction. As does each rocker shaft, they are notched at one end to reference the side of the shaft to be the bottom due to oiling requirements. Check all of this and pull it down if found to be assembled incorrectly. Do a search as this is extremely important. Not being attentive here is a major screw up.
the engine is basically completly stock, just needed to be freshened up... and yeah i have some brake in oil in the oil for braking the cam...
the thing with the shanked bolts... i only have one on each side.. i thoroughly cleaned the original shafts before installing but no oil is coming out from the rocker arms, they all cant be clogged could they... and loosened one bolt on the shafts and the driver side is getting plenty of oil with lots of pressure but the passenger side gets little to no pressure... i want to get this fix, i´m thinking that if i start the engine and 2000rpm for 20minutes might destroy my valve train...
Shanked bolt goes in the center stand , oil comes up through that passage then into rocker shaft then to rockers , be sure to take the shaft assemblys apart and throughly clean them , alto of sludge and junk gets trapped in the shaft over the years .

Did you snake out the oil passages in the block? I use a gun cleaning kit and compressed air myself. This makes sure that nothing is in any of the passages to prevent proper oil flow to all parts of the engine. Many times internal gaskets will harden then break apart. These pieces will get stuck in narrow oil passages.
thanks everybody for all the great info.. i ended up cleaning both shafts and was able to get the problem solved (yeah they were pretty dirty)... i´ll be braking in the engine either today or tomorrow.. thanks again...
