Junk Yard Trips Made Easy
I recently discovered a way to make trips to the junk yard much easier. I didn't see this information in any of the sticky threads. Mods, if it violates any of the guidelines, please edit or delete.
My problem is that my local yard does not have any dentsides. Interchange listings are hard to come by. But I found that the Well Vehicle Electronics website will tell you all the applications for a particular part. Apparently they get their info from ShowMeTheParts.com
On a part that I was looking for, I found almost 250 other vehicles (Dodge, Ford, Mazda, Plymouth, Eagle) that used the same part and was able to quickly locate one in the yard.

- Go to ShowMeTheParts - Automotive Aftermarket Electronic Catalog
- Look up your part.
- Click on the Buyers Guide tab

I've had this app on my Iphone for over a year now and never used it, this thread just made me think of it. :P
So in other words, if you have an iphone you can get the app so you don't have to print stuff off.
