Interchangeable parts

Hey everybody, i have a quick question, in a previous post i let everyone know i was working on making a custom valve cover that i will do at work on a CNC machine.

I dont want to deal with taking my personal valve cover off and on getting dimensions for the program all while im working on getting the truck running its self.

I found a valve cover on ebay but its out of a 1959 Edsel with an I6.
The guy selling it says it also fits 1954-1960 f100 series trucks with an I6.

I was hoping you guys could verify it.

Cheers.

I'd suggest sending a PM to Numberdummy to get a definitive answer.

Then the alternative would be to look up the part# for the valve cover gasket for both engines to see if it is the same.
