1996 cc refurbish/psd swap

I picked up a 350 crew cab last year with no motor, used to be a 460. I finally started tearing the thing apart recently. What was going to be a quick motor swap somehow is becoming a cab off restoration lol. I am hoping to have this back together and running by the first weekend in august so I can drive it to Carlisle Trucks, we will see how that goes...

If the pic links ever stop working, everything should be in here:

Sounds like a good project. Good luck.
One question, does the frame of the gasser is the same as the PSD?

Just need the motor mounts for the diesel, 4 bolts each, the holes are already in the gasser cross member. the gasser motor mounts have 3? bolts on the pass side and 2 and 3 or 4 rivets on the driver side that i ground out. I'm not sure if that is the case with earlier gas cross members though , pre psd era?

Cool project - thanks for the pics. I love the redneck engineering with the ladders.... much less expensive than a two-post lift.

Looks like a great project! These trucks are worth the work to preserve them. Keep the pictures and the updates coming!

Probably not, just clean it up. Maybe something with the fuel bowl, at least a gasket kit. my funds are limited as well. My biggest concearn is keeping the truck in good shape. I have por15 for the frame, and I might get grey por 15 for the bottom of the cab.

I would at least do E-fuel. I know it can be done for $350 or so.

Mainly depends on your pricing for fittings, the pump, and wiring.
You can buy a wiring kit...pricey, but makes installation a breeze.

I will have to actually calculate, but with the wiring kit, filters, bases, pump, fittings, regulator and all Im about $375.

The wiring kit with OPS and stuff is $120+shipping IIRC.

I was definitely thinking about it. If not now, later. It would be simpler to do now though
