85 460 Heads
Does anyone know about the heads on a 460. Someone told me to check and see if I have Dover Heads on my motor. If I do he told me the motor is worth a good sum of money.How do I tell if I have Dover heads on my motor?

85 460 Heads
Your buddy was probably thinking about D0VE (thats DeeZeroVeeEee) heads. These were used on 1970 and 1971 429's and 460's. If you have an 85 460, it won't have these heads unless someone swapped them on. You can look for the D0VE casting code on the head just about the exhaist manifold.
