Auto Transmission hole
My brother has a 94 Bronco and today he was up under it looking at a way to fix the heat shield that was rattling and noticed that there was a hole about 2-3 inches in diameter right above the transmission oil pan. Inside the hole you can see another blue housing. My question is was there supposed to be a cap or anything to cover the hole up? He hasn't had any tranmission problems. So is this cover or what ever goes there supposed to hold the transmission fluid in there or what? Any info will help.
