1964 or 1963?
Hello All, i am trying to decode this vin but having no luck, i was told the truck was built in 1963 but sold as a 1964 model, i would just like to know the basic VIN info so i can make sure to get proper replacement parts for it.

This truck was built in Aug '63 and owner says it was sold in July '63 and claims its a '63 year model. Ford : F-100 Flareside in Ford | eBay Motors

445217 = Aug 63
August 63 build numbers are 445001 - 449999
Puts the build date for a 64 model.

If Warranty Plate located on left door face below the latch: Compare the VIN on the Warranty Plate to the VIN on the registration/title to see if they match.
People replaced damaged left doors with used doors. 99.9% of the time, they failed to install the original Warranty Plates on the replaced doors.
Why is it that when peeps post ads, they don't proof read them first? Impossible: F10JR445217 = Assembled in August 1963, sold in July 1963!
440,000-445,000 = 1963, assembled August 1963.
445,001-449,999 = 1964, assembled August 1963.
