It's been under a trailer for more than 20 years. I restored the trailer once in high school and once again this past Winter. The lug bolt holes in the drums are worn out and do not allow proper torque. I'm trying to figure out the make and model so I might obtain some replacement drums. I'm going to guess at an Rambler or earlier Mopar axle. Fords used flanged axles with the studs pressed into the flange. Ditto GM. The tapered type axle on there was used on a lot of Rambler and Mopar stuff. BUT, I could not find any image of an axle that matches the one you have.
Someone else will come along and know it, or remember it, or maybe actually have a pile of parts for one.....
