Super Street.. less than 40" tires, stock appearing body.. anything below aluminum heads unless they were stock pretty much. Tech guys were starting to get bishy with me though because they realize the awesome power of LEB is going to destroy my class. Not my fault I read the rules and did everything I could to bring the ya bish upon them. I expect rules changes at the buck after 6/22 :flip

I run super street at one pit, a rim-36 and a 37-44, cast blocks and heads, dual plane intake's and vac secondary carb, exhaust system with mufflers past the cab and full body no cutting except for tire clearance....

at other pits its is full body trucks with basically any engine modification's....

Alright, I was thinking about running super street. But what's the difference in super street and super stock? In my area the only thing on the rules that's really different between the two is a 555 Cubic inch limit.

And are yall required to have roll bars and a fire extinguisher?

Here's a link to the rules here

Classified . 521BBF.

It depends on the track and how many trucks are in the class. Typical payouts are 500, 300 and 150 for smaller tracks and as much as 2000 at bigger tracks for first.

im getting ripped off then....

im running a 429 with D3 heads

they split the pot 50/30/20 here at the local hill and hole pit, the other track is everything under 5 trucks goes to the first place and after that they split 1 and 2nd.

I guess there typical pay out at the hill and hole is maybe 20/125/75 or similar... If i ride a little bit to a track they have a garunteed, 500/350/250/100/50 payout no minimum amount of truck's BUT they are a NMRA track.

The NMRO tracks around here are the ones that pay 2000 for first.

Brandon,
My biggest question would be how in teh name of hell would a tech guy know the difference between a 554 and a 557 bbf?

they want, there is a under 500 class on the flat track here they got a fancy little tool that they check with, but the guy will tell you upfront it could be as much as 5-6" off so basically aslong as it reads under 506 you can run the class.

Yeah I was wonderin that too Kris.

The payouts here are 400/250/200/150 even down to 10th place which is 55 bucks.

I got D3 heads too, I want to get new valves, port and polished but that's gonna have to wait till the college grant money comes in. I been lookin for somebody that knows how to smooth out the smog hump but I haven't found anybody yet.
