Ac Keeps Running!

2000 Ford Excursion - ac keeps running after the car is turned off and the key is removed. Air is actually coming out the vents!!!

Anybody ever experience this? My wife can turn the ac off with the console switch. Nothing else is running

Sounds like it's just getting constant power from somewhere. Either learn to deal with it or gamble that it's an easy fix and start tracing wires

I'd agree with the GEM module. Not something I'd wait too long to have tested since it controls a lot of circuits. Any shop with a scan tool will typically be able to test the module. A dealer will most likely need to be the one to replace it since it needs to be programmed with the applicable options, etc.
