Squeaky clutch pedal

I can't get rid of the loud squeaking every time the clutch is pressed. I've sprayed lube up around the bushing, no luck. Is the noise coming from underneath?

What year is the truck? IOW, does it have mechanical or hydraulic linkage? With mechanical it can easily squeak underneath as there is a lot of moving parts down there.

It's a mechanical clutch on my 83 F100. I'll correct my avatar and signature.

As said, the mechanical linkage has lots of parts under the truck. But, you have bushings on the cross-shaft in the pedal assembly. Then there is a bushing on the end of the rod that connects to the arm on the cross-shaft. The rod itself goes through the firewall down to the Z-bar, but if things are worn out it is possible the rod is contacting the side of the opening in the firewall. At the bottom end of the rod there is another wear point where it goes into the Z-bar. And there's the bushings on both ends of the Z-bar - but there's a grease fitting on the Z-bar so you might be able to get lube to them if they are making noise. Might. And then there's the rod from the Z-bar back to the throwout arm, and it wears where it hits the Z-bar.

IOW, there are joints everywhere that could be making noise. Slide under there while someone pushing the pedal down - with the park brake on for safety.
