Maximum Size for spare

Hey guys.

I run 295/70/18 for my tires. Can i put that size of spare under the truck as well?

I think so. I have 20" wheels and my spare is 18". Dealer said that it's still a spare and should only be used for short distances even though it's a full size spare. I think the 20" is an issue for spare. 18 should be fine.

I have a 34" diameter spare on an 18" wheel. It's like a total of 9". I put a heat shield between the exhaust and the pipe. So far no issues. Spare is for emergencies anyway. I get a flat, I'm calling a flatbed to tow it in.

Well that could get quite expensive out on some logging road in the middle of nowhere. It might even pay for another tire and wheel assembly.

I pay for roadside assistance thru my insurance company. Cost me nothing. Don't you have that available in Canada?

I would like to see a tow truck get down some of my farm roads...lol.
I'll end up changing the tire anyways and then pulling out the stuck truck so he can haul mine away
