headers installation
I have a 1978 F-100 302 Custom longbed.
I found some Flowtech headers on eBay that are listed to fit my truck.
My question is what sort of problems will I face on installation?
Any tips will be appreciated.

is your truck 2 wheel of 4 wheel drive?
If it is 2 wheel you should not have any problems installing them. You will have to modify up the collector pipes to go over the trans crossmember but not a big deal.
4 wheel drive you may have some clearance issues but I have a 2 wheel drive truck with headers so I do not know exactly what you will run into with a 4 wheel drive.

My truck is a 2wd also, I have a C4 transmission. I had issues with my transmission cooler lines (hard lines) I ended up cutting them and using transmission pressure rated rubber line to get them out of the way. For the the collector outputs I used hedman header collector extenders to get the exhaust up and over the transmission crossmember.
