I only have 4000 miles on my truck and sometimes the truck will not start and the dealer doesn't know what is wrong with it. I was wandering if some of you guys my know whats going on. I put the key in it turn it and nothing. the battery and gas is all good and not on a hill level ground. sometimes it starts up and sometimes it doesn't.
Do you have more than one Ford key on the same key ring ? I have seen that cause this complaint . Electronic interferance ? I had a shop truck that would not start at one place I went to get parts . I had to coast down the hill to get it to start . It took a while to figure that one out . It was a piece of equipment they had , it confused my security system . Just a few thoughts .
I get that sometimes in my 2013. I blame it on software developers who write software based solely on data input without considering the human interaction it must have.

Nothing like it won't start? Or nothing like it won't even turn over? I haven't tested it on one of these trucks, but in older trucks the starter would crank all day but the fuel pump wouldn't engage if the code in the key wasn't recognized.
